Register to Vote
If you are eligible to vote, now is the time to get ready for the upcoming Midterm elections, held on Tuesday, November 6.

For California residents, the deadline to register to vote is October 22, 2018.

Have you moved since the last election? Re-register to vote today!

Any California registered voter may request to vote using a vote-by-mail ballot. You do not have to be “absent” or “out of town on election day” to vote by mail in California. You may apply for a vote-by-mail ballot just because you want to.

PROPOSITIONS
Proposition 8 – YES
Prop 8 regulates amounts outpatient kidney dialysis clinics charge for dialysis treatment, which will push for-profit dialysis corporations to spend more money on direct patient care. Dialysis corporation revenues will be limited to no more than 15% above the amount they spend on patient care.

Proposition 10 – YES
Prop 10 restores authority to establish rent control in local communities, putting fair, annual limits on the amount landlords can raise rent.
