Tentative Agreement Reached!
We are ecstatic to announce that we have reached a tentative agreement with the University of California on a new four-year contract through September 30th, 2020.
The new contract dramatically improves conditions for postdocs, including: increasing postdoc salaries to the highest of any public university in the US, providing paid parental leave for all postdocs, improving appointment length, and strengthening protections against discrimination and sexual harassment, while maintaining all our current hard-won rights. As your bargaining committee we encourage you to vote to ratify the contract during the ratification vote. The vote will start on Monday, October 10th.
Follow the links below to view important information regarding the new contract.
You can also view the full Tentative Agreement, which has full contract language and details changes from the previous contract.
Contract Ratification Vote
The Contract Ratification Vote begins Monday, October 10th. The contract is not official until it is ratified by Postdocs. On Monday, October 10th, you will be emailed a link to vote.
