Bring a side dish or snack and build community with Postdocs and Academic Researchers (Project Scientists, Researchers, Specialists and Coordinators of Public Programs) who have now obtained majority support for their unionization effort. Friends/Family and all researchers are welcome.
RSVP here to let us know you are coming, how many guests you are bringing, and if there is a side dish/snack that you would like to bring!
Please join us for our first Academic Researcher general meeting of the new year! We’ll discuss existing recommendations to improve research in the U.S., including the 2018 NAS report: “The Next Generation of Biomedical and Behavioral Sciences Researchers: Breaking Through”. By understanding existing recommendations and reports, we can better craft bargaining proposals to support our careers and UC’s research mission.
All ARs are encourage to attend and lunch will be provided!
Do you have an Individual Development Plan (IDP)? Are you familiar with what an IDP is and the benefits of having one? At this month’s Campus Membership Meeting, we will discuss Individual Development Plans, how to take advantage of them to help achieve your career and professional development goals, and current career development rights under our contract and how these rights can be improved upon. Come join us!
