As of the close of the nomination period at 5pm PST on May 7, 2012, no more than one member accepted nomination for any position, excepting that of Vice President. The election for the Vice President will take place on Monday, May 21, 2012. All members in good standing at the time of the election are eligible to vote at their campus. Membership may be obtained at the polling sites. The election will be by secret ballot. Write-in candidates are not permitted. Voting must be in person. There will be no absentee ballots. If any position is uncontested, the candidate shall be considered elected and no election for that position will be held. All candidates for contested Executive Board and Joint Council positions must be elected by majority of valid ballots cast for that position. A run-off election, if necessary, will be held on June 5, 2012 at the same times and locations shown above.
