As California recovers from an extended, record-setting heatwave, UC Academic Workers are at the bargaining table fighting for clean transit benefits. Academic Researchers, Academic Student Employees, Postdocs, and Student Researchers have all proposed a solution that would incentivize workers to choose sustainable commutes – something that would improve our lives and curb climate change.
RSVP to the Climate Justice town hall to learn more about these proposals. The town hall will take place on Wednesday, September 28th from 7-8PM PST. UAW-ally Rep. Katie Porter will join us to discuss how our campaign aligns with her efforts in congress to win climate-friendly and dignified transportation for workers.

RSVP to attend the town hall to discuss a plan to win these demands with Rep. Katie Porter and learn how unionized Academic Workers at the University of Washington and Harvard University won similar demands.
