On Monday evening, we reached a tentative agreement with UC on a new contract. Now Academic Researchers will vote on ratifying the contract. The online vote will run from Monday, December 5 through Friday December 9. You will be sent a link to a secure ballot on the morning of December 5.

The bargaining team strongly recommends a “Yes” vote on this tentative agreement as it includes significant improvements in compensation, protections against bullying/abusive conduct, disability justice, job security, PI status, parental & family leave, and support for green commuting. Click here for a contract summary. The AR Bargaining Team is holding online town hall meetings to discuss the Tentative Agreement and answer questions today and Monday.
